Axis Pioneer Square wedding venue.
Axis Pioneer Square is an industrial dream! 10,000 square feet of a historical and preserved Globe Building, and it’s 10,000 square feet of vintage perfection! It’s the perfect venue for all you funky, unique, out-of-the-box thinkers. A beautiful, brick building in the heart of the scenic and funky Pioneer Square in Seattle. It is perfect for lovers of beautiful skylines, and city life. If you want an urban Seattle wedding, Axis is for you!
Axis Pioneer Square is a versatile venue, hosting all sorts of events. It also doubles as an art gallery sometimes, and we know why: because it gets perfect light! It is a photographer’s dream indoor venue. We love this venue because it is perfect for moody fall, and winter weddings, when you’re worried about that famous Seattle rain ruining your day, it’s the perfect venue to ease those fears.
Let’s talk about the venue features! Exposed brick, floor to ceiling windows, beautiful, vintage wood flooring, all are great bones for a DIY wedding. This venue is great for all styles, romantic, edgy, trendy, vintage, etc.. The space is large enough for a big wedding, but not so spacious that it doesn’t feel cozy. It has a way of making the largest weddings feel intimate, and intimate weddings feel even cozier. The outside features exposed brick walls covered in vines crawling up and around the length of it. It’s a fairy tale meets modern edgy all in one.
I love the potential that this venue has to support every idea a couple has. Check out this Axis Pioneer Square wedding we shot, where the couple softened the venue with soft light from candles and greenery everywhere, adding a romantic flair to this space. We have seen people add those crazy flower arrangements that they’ve dreamed of, making them the focus of the wedding, Add geometric shapes and succulent terrariums for a trendy factor, or keep it simple with white flowers and greenery, and let the venue work it’s magic on its own.
Being in the heart of Seattle, Axis Pioneer Square is the perfect venue for those out of town guests who want the full Seattle experience. It’s only a quick Uber to the Space Needle and the Modern Pop Culture Museum. And it’s a 15-minute walk from the famous Pike Place Market, where your guests can fill their weekend shopping at the fish market, enjoying a ride on the Great Wheel, and having a brew at Pike Place Brewing.
There are tons of hotels within walking distance. There are budget-friendly hotels, or splurge on a nice hotel, with views of the skyline or maybe a spa! And of course, we cannot forget about Airbnb! Our favorite is Motif: it’s a bit of a walk, but that’s nothing a handy dandy Uber can’t help with! And has the perfect “first look” rooftop, and gorgeous rooms for those getting ready photos.
