Rachel and Chris

These two had a whirlwind of a day!

They had to cancel their wedding because of… you guessed it… COVID-19!

These two did not let this dumpster fire of a year ruin their plans to get married. They dusted themselves off and started to create a fresh new plan. They knew they wanted an intimate elopement, and they knew wanted to hike. After all, if they were going to elope, they were going to make it an adventure. They got ready with a small group of friends and family around them. Everyone was all smiles, all day long.

They landed on one of the most beautiful hikes in the greater Seattle area. We love this hike, but man is it popular. We were concerned at first about crowds, but something was telling that this was the right hike for them, so we went for it, and man we were not disappointed! This elopement location is to die for.

The crowds dispersed and we practically had the whole place to ourselves around sunset. Rachel and Chris got dressed in the woods and did a first look at the gorgeous alpine lake. They kept their small bridal party, having them stand with them, on the boulder they got married on. The day was completely full of laughs, tears, and so much joy!
