Poulsbo, Washington

Kiana Lodge is located in Poulsbo, Washington. Poulsbo is the smallest, and quaintest of four small cities in Kitsap County, Washington. Just a quick ferry from Seattle, this gorgeous, seaside town is quiet, beautiful and so PNW. This awesome community is home to Boehm’s Chocolate, Rainy Daze Brewing, with their delicious Haulin’ Oats Stout, and the mouth-watering Sluys’ Bakery.

This town has everything you want from a small town: boutique hotels, community farmer’s markets in the summer and endless Christmas celebrations in the winter. It literally feels like you walked into a Hallmark movie when you visit this town. It’s the perfect town to go to unwind, and relax before your big day!

Kiana Lodge is nestled among lush forests, with breathtaking views of the Agate Passage, and is an immaculate venue for the perfect wedding. It includes three event spaces for weddings of all styles and sizes. It sits on 1,000 feet of majestic waterfront and features 6 acres of perfectly manicured gardens. it is naturally shaded by beautiful towering cedars and majestic firs.

The lawn is a beautiful, open space under beautiful PNW skies, and with gorgeous forestation in the background. The garden atrium is a beautiful lodge with high ceilings and an open floor plan. It features exposed beams, rustic wood floors, and windows galore. And the main lodge, perfect for your moody, indoor portraits, and for gathering with your loved ones to get ready for your big day.

The Lawn

The lawn is the perfect spot for your ceremony or your portraits. I love this spot because it is immaculately curated by the staff, who work tirelessly to make your surroundings perfect for your wedding day. It overlooks the crystal blue water, making it impossible to get a bad photo here.

Greenery is the perfect pop of color against the blue of the water in front of you. The space is the perfect blank canvas for all your wedding ideas. Erect a beautiful arch, covered in florals and greenery. Or lay down a Moroccan rug, for your boho flare, and light candles at your feet while the sun goes down. The lawn is also the perfect place for corn-hole and outdoor games for those summer weddings.

The Garden Atrium

Honestly, this Garden Atrium at The Kiana Lodge is jaw-dropping beautiful all on its own. You barely need any decor to enjoy this naturally beautiful setting. It has wall-to-wall windows, an endless ceiling of windows letting in the PNW sun and moonlight. It features exposed beams, wood floors perfect for dancing: a rustic venue with a modern, romantic flare. Give it a boho vibe with twinkle lights or chandeliers, and endless eucalyptus and greenery. Or, pure romance and lightness with colorful flowers and babies breath, maybe some candles.

The Main Lodge

Head to the main lodge for some cozy, relaxing getting ready time. This wood lodge is beautiful and the perfect way to spend your day getting ready surrounded by the beautiful natural beauty of this venue. If you are looking for a great place for some moody, indoor, window-light portraits, this lodge is the perfect place for it. Pose on one of the leather couches, among the deer heads hanging on the walls. Or on one of the winding staircases, kissing like a fairy tale couple.

The main lodge is great for your getting ready portraits as well. It has great light for hair and makeup and posing in your dress, while you wait to start your life with your loved one. It has plenty of room and all the amenities needed for the bride and groom to get ready with their favorite people.

We adore this venue and recommend it to all vibes who are looking for a seamless wedding planning process, and a great experience. Check it out on our list of best wedding venues!
