Holy Moly, you guys!! Talk about a GORGEOUS wedding!! Andrea and Karl currently live in Charlotte North Carolina, but after a trip they had taken to Traverse City Michigan…. It was decided. They had fallen in love, and they were most certainly going to have their wedding there. We are so glad that they did!! We had never been to the area, and drove up a few days early to camp and explore Northern Michigan… It is amazing!! We can definitely understand why Andrea and Karl were so charmed.
Crooked Creek Ranch is a 160 acre country estate located on the shores of Lake Leelanau. The bride and groom’s room, the ceremony, cocktail hour, the reception, and everything in between, was held on this giant propery, but each location felt remote and unique to it’s own. Andrea and Karl each got ready in a small but ever so charming cottage. The ceremony was held along the tranquil shoreline of Lake Leelanau, surrounded by open fields, blue skies, and whispering winds. Cocktail hour was equivalent to sitting on the back porch of your favorite summer getaway… Drink in hand, of course! And the reception… The reception was a party for the books! Everyone, young and old, was smiling ear to ear, and dropping it low on the rustic barn’s dance floor!!
So not only were the grounds beautiful, but Andrea and Karl were both a dream to work with. Both good hearted individuals, down to earth, laid back, mellow, and pretty darn easy on the eyes!! Thank you so much for including us in such an amazing day, you two… We are beyond thrilled that we were able to be a part of it!
