The Kelley Farm

Bonney Lake, Washington

The Kelley Farm is located in Bonney Lake, Washington, just southeast of Tacoma. It is a gorgeous lake town with stunning and overwhelming mountain views and sunsets. It features get outdoor activities such as hiking around Carbon River, a moody, glacier-fed river with mountain views. Allan Yorke Park, for lakeside beach games and activities, or just basking in the summer sun. Or Victor Park, a beautiful, cascading waterfall at the end of a leisurely and short hike.

Settle down for a brew at Lost Woods Brewery: my favorite is the juicy, New England style Wicked Haze IPA. Or satiate your hunger at the famous burger joint, Burche- Burgers and Cheese. It is a charming and peaceful town perfect for summer and falls getaways, and perfect for your wedding. It is easily accessible from both Seattle and Tacoma, and convenient for everyone to get to.

The Kelley Farm

The Kelley Farm is a gorgeous rustic, glam barn located in the heart of Bonney Lake. It has a rich history that you can read about on their site! It features everything you would need for a seamless and stress-free wedding planning process. It is a beautiful rustic wood barn with market lighting bordering the tall frame, gorgeous, vintage barn doors teasing to the outside, and perfectly manicured grounds.

It features stunning, and elegant getting ready space in the bridal cottage. A gorgeous, quaint, mint green cottage, with art-deco furniture and beautiful window light for flawless hair and makeup. A magic mirror that makes you look stunning, and plenty of room for your bridal party to put their feet up and sip champagne. The front porch is the perfect, country-style location for some bridal portraits or even a first look. The groom’s cottage is a more rustic look, with hardwood floors, exposed beams and couches perfect for the groomsmen to relax and enjoy themselves before the ceremony.

The lush grounds feature everything you need for some yummy, photo-goodness. Pose on the path on property, under the blooming Cherry Blossom trees, for a romantic flare, and a little shade on a hot summer day. Or trek out to the garden area for an amazing sunset glow in your portraits.

Have your ceremony in the garden, with views of a golden sunset, tall evergreens and seasonal blooms. Set up an arch or a beautiful backdrop, or just let nature be your backdrop. All styles are doable here. If the weather is bad or if you’re looking for more of a moody, rustic vibe, have no fear! The barn is perfect for an indoor ceremony. Exposed beams and twinkle lights covering the ceiling, with a featured, glamorous chandelier, this is the perfect ceremony space for your rustic and vintage style.

Kelley Farms also sports a patio, perfect for your guests to catch a sunset during cocktail hour, while you’re off taking more stunning photos. It is the perfect place to soak up the endless summer, PNW sun (that doesn’t set until 9 PM in July!) and getting a little drink before the reception festivities begin.

The key to making every wedding perfect at Kelley Farms is the passion of its owners and staff. Their pride in the place makes them want every wedding that walks in their door, a 10/10. This place is sacred to them, and they carry it’s rich and thriving history on their shoulders, and they want it to be sacred to you too. It’s easy to see yourself getting married at a place that just feels like home.

We love Kelley Farms so much that we added it to our list of Best Wedding Venues in Seattle. Check it out!
