Leavenworth Wedding at NaMu Lodge

Leavenworth Wedding at NaMu Lodge

You know those weddings where you show up and you are immediately treated as if you are part of the family? Well, that is exactly what Emily and Zac’s intimate Leavenworth wedding at the NaMu Lodge was. First off, if you haven’t been to Leavenworth Washington, do yourself a favor and book some flights right now.

Leavenworth is a classic German in the heart of central Washington. It’s surrounded by towering mountains, and raging rivers, and the best beer in the west. Come to Leavenworth in December for the most magical Christmas celebrations, or in the summer for white water rafting and awesome hiking.

Emily, Zac, and their families came all the way from Missouri for this perfect intimate wedding in the mountains of the PNW, one of the best places to elope. They were drawn in by the allure of Washington’s diverse landscape. They chose NaMu Lodge in Leavenworth because it checked off everything from their list. NaMu lodge is a quaint lodge settled in the mountains of Leavenworth, surrounded by the most beautiful landscape Washington has to offer.

We love this lodge because it is remote, yet still close to the bustle of Leavenworth, and it’s the perfect place for all your guests to stay and enjoy Washington for an intimate wedding. If you’re looking for your next place to stay or host your wedding, definitely check out NaMu Lodge!

The First Look

Emily and Zac shared a special moment during their first look. They laughed and admired each other and shed a tear or did (and maybe we did too). We have so much fun watching couples just fall apart in front of each other when they see each other for the first time. These two cracked jokes made each other laugh and shared such a special first moment together on their wedding day.

Then we headed towards Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee State Park to take their wedding portraits. The best thing about a Leavenworth wedding is that there is no shortage of gorgeous portrait locations within a few minutes’ drive. The city is very small and very easy to navigate unless it’s snowing! We had no snow but the fall colors were just starting to pop, giving us some brilliant Autumn tones to work with.

The Celebration

We then came back and were greeted by their closest family and friends at the NaMu Lodge. We have to tell ya, there is something so so special about a very intimate wedding with loved ones. Our couples get to sit and spend time with every guest and make memories, instead of feeling stressed about sharing a moment with everyone at a big event. So many memories were made at this Leavenworth wedding and so many tears were shed.

After their short ceremony, we ate and danced the night away. They had a large family-style dinner set up, where everyone gathered around and could see each other. We loved this! I loved that everyone got to sit around a big table together and catch up, make toasts and share food.

Speeches were made, and they started a warm fire in the fireplace when the temperature began to drop. They shared the sweetest first dance, which may be my second favorite thing about every wedding we do. We love watching every couple just relax and fall into each other’s arms to a song that tells their story.

Congrats to Emily, Zac, and their amazing families. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your celebration (and for the mimosas :P).
