As many of you know, we just recently moved to Bainbridge Island in Washington, which if you’ve never been… is GORGEOUS! We absolutely love living here. That being said, there are tons of beautiful places on the island that we have been dying to shoot at. So when Nicole and Max brought up the possibility of a Fay Bainbridge Park engagement session… We were super pumped!!
Fay Bainbridge Park
Fay Bainbridge Park is a 17 acre park on a cozy corner of Bainbridge park. It has beautiful views of the Puget Sound and the Cascades. It has sandy beaches, that feature views of Mount Rainier and Mount Baker on really clear days. People love it for camping, boating, fishing and so much more. We decided on a sunrise session down on the beach at the park, which left Nicole and Max to catch a 6 am ferry from Seattle. We were sure to greet them with a fresh pot of hot coffee! We love the feeling of the world before sunrise. While everyone is still sleeping, we are making memories, and taking in the views, and we’re always the only ones there.
We love the Washington Islands so much because sometimes
After shooting down on the beach for a while, we headed over to The Grand Forest. It is a gorgeous hiking trail on Bainbridge Island full of lush greenery, tall trees, and moss. Lots of serious Hoh Rainforest vibes goin’ on. What could be more PNW than towering trees that sway in the wind?
Thank you for being such troopers and braving the early morning, Nicole & Max. We are so excited for your wedding later this September!
