Alderbrook Resort and Spa
Ahhhhh Alderbrook Resort and Spa! If you’re looking for luxury, this is the venue for you! A beautiful, romantic waterfront lodge with views of the Olympic Mountain Range, right on the edge of the famous Hoh Rainforest, the northernmost rainforest in the world! It’s spread over 88 acres, and has been standing since 1913, making the perfect mix of luxury and vintage! I love this venue because it borders one of my favorite national parks, Olympic National Park.
The opportunities for this venue are endless. Have your ceremony on the lawn outside, looking out at the water, and set up your reception with a view of the mountains and the beautiful lodge. Or if you’re worried about the infamous Washington rain bringing your outdoor ceremony down, they have a clear tent option. It’s so romantic and peaceful watching the rain dew up the clear tent walls, We especially are in love with the never-ending photo opportunities. There is the water, the woods, and the mountain views to choose from. Go out to the docks for a gorgeous sunset, or hit up the wooded area for some moody bridge photos, with moss-covered trees towering over you.
This venue stands tall and bold in its vintage style. However, that doesn’t mean that it does not leave room for you to incorporate your style. This venue has the potential for every wedding theme, trendy, romantic, bohemian, and of course, vintage.
Check out this trendy meets moody wedding we had the pleasure of photographing at Alderbrook Resort and Spa. This venue was the perfect complement to this couple’s unique style. They decorated with geometric shapes, color block signs and loads of greenery to complement the wood lodge. I especially loved their triangle arch at their ceremony, covered in greenery, the perfect backdrop for their vows. The couple had a very unique style overall, she wore a beautiful, high neck two-piece dress, and he dressed in all black, incorporating their moody flare. This venue was perfect for them!

They make everything so easy to plan and wash away all the stress of preparing for your wedding, so that all you have to worry about, is marrying the love of your life.
Spend a couple of nights before the wedding! They have gorgeous rooms, comfy beds, huge relaxing bathtubs, and balconies for you to look out over the Hoh rainforest or the Hood Canal. Relax by the water and soak in the views. Or go get a massage and spend the day unwinding in the spa. This resort is the perfect place to spend some much needed time before your wedding. Whether you love a nice unwinding jog through the Hoh Rainforest or a relaxing hang by the water, overlooking a beautiful sunset, this is the perfect venue for those couples who may find wedding planning a little stressful, and need a stress-free time.
